You will get exposure to the power (and weakness) of social media advertising on Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, and Youtube. You will get hands-on experience with Search Engine Optimization, and Google Adwords campaigns. You will be able to learn about HTML, CSS, Flash and work with the best open source content publishing platforms – Wordpress, Drupal, Joomla, and Magento to create web sites within minutes.

This is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to get into the social media marketing or web design space. We are looking for excited and talented interns who are self-motivated with a strong passion about marketing and web design. This is a part-time, paid internship at $25 an hour. Work can be performed from home.

Description:

Hello! This is a legitimate posting for an assistant who can work from home and provide administrative and design support for a busy web designer. This position is 1099 contract. The hours will vary between 2-5 hours per week, depending on workload. Hours are flexible, and a 24-48 hour turnaround in generally needed.

You must:

* Be organized and efficient.
* Have some working knowledge of HTML
* Can be PC or Mac based, but Mac based will have preference
* Have at least Photoshop CS on your computer and know how to use it. Other Adobe program knowledge is a plus! (InDesign, Illustrator, etc.)
* Be capable of creating basic graphics, doing web research, and be willing to learn new design skills
* Be able to provide some projects within 24 hours. Not all, but some.

# Pluses: You know all of the Adobe programs and have experience with them
# You can digitally illustrate
# You have even a small amount of experience using and/or designing for WordPress
# You are Tulsa-based
# You have some knowledge of SEO

Pay will be between $10-$15 per hour, possibly more, depending on experience. Seasoned designers looking for much more per hour need not apply. This is the perfect job for a student to gain some experience and make a little extra cash.
